How the app works
Getting started with Paws In is quick and easy. Swipe through the steps below to see how the app helps you and your best friend make the most of every adventure.
Create your account
Sign up or log in to get started. Once you’re in, the app will display your current home location.

The Paws In community works by everyone uploading their favourite walks to share with others
To upload a walk:
- Give your walk a name
- Enter the start and end locations using the Google search
- Add up to 3 photos of the walk
- Write a short description to help others know what to expect
- Tick any relevant features, facilities and potential hazards
- Submit your walk for review
Once approved by the Paws In team, your walk will be published for the community to discover and enjoy
Remember also to review your favourite restaurants, coffee shops, vets etc.
If you want to recommend any amenity that we have not featured email us at hello@pawsin.app and we will make sure it is included.
Walk Safe where you are heading
Heading out for a walk? With Walk Safe, choose a trusted contact, set your expected return time and share a private link so they can check your walk status.
If you haven’t checked in after your expected return time and grace period, Walk Safe can send your contact an overdue text with your last recorded location. Location updates are recorded while the app is open.
